Kitchen Space

Being charitable is not always about giving your money, it can also be about offering a resource!

There are hundreds of underused kitchen spaces out there, from cafes that close after lunch, to churches and community centres that only use their kitchens once or twice a week. FoodCycle can use these idle kitchen spaces, fill them up with volunteers and cook delicious and healthy meals for those affected from food poverty in the community.

Each kitchen will allow us to prepare hot, balanced meals for people in the community, and with little cost to the kitchen. To get a FoodCycle kitchen going it doesn’t take much. We’ll need an oven, prep table and just some dry and cold storage space. Thanks to your generosity we’re on our way of making delicious meals for the community!
